Kátł’odeeche Housing Plan

This plan is the result of an extensive engagement process that outlines a vision and action plan for housing. It discusses housing on the Reserve context and needs, community discussions and priorities, and outlines the actions to implement the plan.

It includes six priority areas: create own processes with clear responsibilities, build in both worlds (old and new), Udaa goghá ahsı ts̨ ’ehtsı (Building for the Future), develop energy efficient, self sustaining homes, Self-sustaining sombah (Triple ‘S’ System), Dene way – the traditional economy.

The Kátł’odeeche Housing Plan was developed in partnership between the Kátł’odeeche Nation (KFN) and Housing Northwest Territories (NWT).
