Nova Scotia Cross-Sector Housing Summit

20 January 2025 – Casino Nova-Scotia

The Nova Scotia Cross-Sector Housing Summit, hosted by the Nova Scotia Non-Profit Housing Association, Pivot Housing Solutions, and the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS®, will gather professionals from private, social, and non-profit housing sectors to address housing challenges. The event represents a great networking opportunity for those looking to impact Nova Scotia’s housing landscape across all sectors.

The Centre funded the event, and the following staff members will attend:

  • Amanda R. Knight – Program manager Nova Scotia
  • Olufolake Matuluko – Program manager Nova Scotia

Forum de l’immobilier collectif

24, 25 February 2025, Cité des Hospitalières, Montréal

Organized by Entremise, ALTE Coop, Pivot, and TIESS, this event aims to foster dialogue among sector stakeholders to address social, environmental, and economic challenges with innovative solutions.

The following staff members of the Centre will attend:

  • Luc Labelle, Development manager, will give a presentation on financing
  • Kathrine Lapalme, Regional Energy Coach, will give the following presentation “Energy-efficient renovations and sustainability: meeting the challenges of community housing”
  • François Fayad, Director of communications

HSC Regeneration Forum – New Approaches to Transform Housing

27,28 February 2025 – Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto

After a six-year break, the Regeneration Forum returns to inspire and inform Canada’s housing sector, focusing on expanding housing stock, and addressing diverse needs, with interactive sessions and a development simulation game. The Centre sponsoed the event and contributed to the program.

ASCHA Convention & Trade show

March 30 – April 2, 2025, Edmonton Convention Centre

Celebrating ASCHA’s 60th anniversary, this event brings together housing leaders from across Alberta for networking, educational sessions, and discussions on sector priorities.

Lisa Ker, Executive director will hold a workshop about how community housing could get to 20% of the housing market.

Francois Fayad, Communications director, will also be present.
