The BC Non-Profit Housing Association (BCNPHA) is hosting its 2025 Regional Education, Networking & Tradeshow (RENT) events across British Columbia. These gatherings provide affordable housing professionals with opportunities for professional development, education, and networking, focusing on region-specific housing issues.
CANCELED : Alex Wolf, program manager for B.C., Nunavut, N.W.T., and Yukon, will lead a workshop on the Organizational Compass. The data collected will help BCNPHA support organizations in their improvement efforts and, in November at Housing Central, present an overview of sector trends in British Columbia.
57th CHRA Congress on Housing and Homelessness
April 29 – May 1st, Saskatoon, SK
The CHRA’s Congress on Housing and Homelessness is an annual event that brings together housing professionals for three days of learning, networking, and celebrating the sector. It offers workshops, plenary sessions, mobile tours, and keynotes to meet the educational needs of delegates in affordable housing and homelessness.
On April 29, the Centre will host the Congress’s welcome party, a mix-and-mingle cocktail reception from 7 to 9 PM at the Remai Art Gallery.

- Lisa Ker, Executive director, will take part in several sessions on knowledge sharing and thought leadership:
- On April 30, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM: Scaling Innovation: Integrated approaches for housing development and expansion. Participants will have the opportunity to explore strategies to drive growth and sustainability
- On May 1, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM: Expanding Horizons: New strategies for growing the community housing sector. Lisa Ker, along with Ray Sullivan and Steve Pomeroy, will lead a panel discussion on achieving a 20% share of the housing market.
- Stephan Richard, director of development, will present PEI’s innovative strategy for expanding community housing, highlighting key opportunities for transformative growth and development: “Unlocking growth: Prince Edward Island’s targeted approach to expanding community housing.” on May 1st, from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM.

La journée du développement de l’habitation sociale et communautaire 2025 – AGRTQ

The “Journée du développement de l’habitation sociale et communautaire” is a recurring event organized by the Association des groupes de ressources techniques du Québec (AGRTQ) that brings together housing experts, elected officials, engaged citizens,and other partners to address pressing issues in social and community housing. Each edition focuses on current challenges and explores collaborative solutions to improve housing conditions for Quebec residents.

NBNPHA – New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association’s Annual Conference
