AGRTQ – La journée du développement de l’habitation sociale et communautaire 2025

The “Journée du développement de l’habitation sociale et communautaire” is a recurring event organized by the Association des groupes de ressources techniques du Québec (AGRTQ) that brings together housing experts, elected officials, engaged citizens,and other partners to address pressing issues in social and community housing. Each edition focuses on current challenges and explores collaborative solutions to improve housing conditions for Quebec residents.

Sommet de l’économie sociale
May 14 -15, la TOHU, Montreal
This summit aims to bring together key players from various sectors to collaboratively envision and shape the future of the social economy. Through collaborative efforts with strategic partners and social economy actors, the summit seeks to develop a collective vision and common objectives on topics such as collective real estate, socio-ecological transition, local and democratic governance, seniors, environment, culture, equity and employment.
The Centre is taking part in several panel discussions leading up to the summit on developing a shared vision for collective real estate, and more specifically on collective housing. The discussions focus on practical solutions to make the 20% target both achievable and sustainable.

NBNPHA – New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association’s Annual Conference
May 29 – 31, Delta Hotel, Fredericton
Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive agenda featuring insightful presentations and interactive workshops designed to foster collaboration and innovation. The conference also highlights the Let’s Solve the Housing Crisis initiative, an immersive experience that delves into the evolution of Canadian housing and explores actionable solutions to ongoing challenges.

2025 Nunavut Housing Forum
June 9 – 12, Iqaluit
The 2025 Nunavut Housing Forum is an event focused on addressing housing challenges and exploring solutions . The forum brings together policymakers, community leaders, housing experts, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for improving housing conditions and sustainability in Nunavut. It also aims to foster collaboration and share insights on innovative approaches to housing development, policymaking, and community engagement.

CANADA RETROFIT CONFERENCE
June 9-10, Toronto
This event is Canada’s premier gathering focused on the retrofit sector, bringing together over 700 professionals, including government officials, real estate developers, community housing leaders, and sustainability specialists.

CHF Canada’s Annual Meeting
June 12-14, Toronto
CHF Canada’s 2025 Annual Meeting, themed “Building homes, changing lives,” brings together housing co-op members, managers, staff, and supporters to learn, network, and advance the co-op housing movement.
