Green Kickstarter Fund (GKF)

The Green Kickstarter Fund (GKF) is designed to improve tenants’ quality of life through eco-responsible initiatives. It offers subsidies aimed at creating sustainable communities, reducing energy costs, and providing access to cleaner air and water.

The fund is available exclusively to non-profit housing providers. Cooperatives are encouraged to apply for grants offered by the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada.

Grant value

Funding may vary by project based on conditions and specific needs. The maximum amount eligible under the GKF is $15,000, except for applications from the North and the territories, where the maximum is $20,000.
