The Nova Scotia Community Housing Growth Fund (NS-CHGF) supports community housing by offering financial assistance to help housing providers preserve and increase the supply of community housing in Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia’s CHGF was established and funded by the Government of Nova Scotia in collaboration with the Centre in response to a recommendation from the Nova Scotia Affordable Housing Commission in 2021.
This led to the creation of the Nova Scotia Non-Profit Housing Association (NSNPHA), a provincial association dedicated to strengthening the community housing sector in Nova Scotia.
