Building for high efficiency without additional cost: can it be done?

BC Housing examines the feasibility of constructing energy-efficient homes without increasing costs, drawing on research from 38 projects built to BC Energy Step Code or Passive House standards. The findings suggest that higher energy efficiency can be more cost-effective and that buildings with lower greenhouse gas Emission intensity tend to be less expensive.
