Home connect: Building social connections and community engagement among residents of multi-family rental housing

This report aims to showcase examples of community building in various types of multi-family housing developments. By studying these examples, the report promotes social connectedness in dense housing and encourages the sector to prioritize affordability, security of tenure, and sociability. Through research and interviews, the authors developed a 12-month pilot project called ‘Community Connections’ for Madrona. A report summarizing key findings and recommendations was prepared by consultant Michelle Hoar.
