Housing co-operatives: Women’s representation, women’s empowerment

This project, led by La Fédération de l’habitation coopérative du Québec (FHQC) and FECHIMM in collaboration with the Relais-femmes organization, explores the experiences of women in housing cooperatives, identifying systemic barriers and highlighting inspiring practices to promote gender equality. It features testimonials from residents and community workers, along with recommendations for cooperative housing partners to strengthen women’s empowerment and participation.
