This website is the online collection of the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre. It contains digital copies of public records related to the residential school system and other colonial actions imposed on Indigenous peoples in Canada. The collection includes Survivor and Intergenerational Survivor testimonies, events and hearings from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, photographs, and government and church documents. The aim of the collection is to make colonial records and mechanisms visible while amplifying Survivor voices.
