From CHF Canada: This microlearning module is designed to help housing co-op directors and managers understand how to treat personal information in a way that respects privacy law, particularly recognizing that personal information is sometimes necessary for boards to make decisions in the best interest of the co-op. The six interactive lessons should take learners approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Privacy is something we all crave and yet, with today’s technology, something increasingly in jeopardy. Housing co-ops have a long history of keeping personal information confidential to those who need to know it for the purpose of making decisions in the best interest of the co-op. Yet frequently members feel their privacy rights are not being maintained. The process of maintaining confidentiality of personal information is done to try to achieve the goal of protecting people’s right to privacy.
