This research submission to the Federal Housing Advocate reports on housing insecurities faced by racialized individuals and communities in Canada. It discusses the barriers faced and the role played by municipal, provincial, and federal jurisdictions. The submission also reviews existing federal legal commitments and human rights protections in housing and provides recommendations for the Federal Housing Advocate to improve housing security for racialized communities.
