The Centre, in collaboration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network (NLHHN), is launching a province-wide initiative to identify the needs and reality of community housing providers across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Participate in this important sector-wide effort to add your organization’s voice in the conversation shaping future services, funding and investments.
Why participate
You’ll gain a clearer understanding of your organization’s strengths and areas for growth.
You will foster a broader understanding of the sector’s collective priorities.
How to participate
Complete the Organizational Compass, a quick and easy online self-assessment tool that helps you reflect on four key areas of your operations:
- Governance
- Property management
- Financial management
- Social and community relations
→ START YOUR SELF-ASSESSMENT NOW (you will need to login or signup to the Centre’s portal to do so)
Why it matters
This study will identify key trends, challenges, and capacity gaps across the sector and drive action to fill them.
The aggregated findings will be shared during a panel discussion at the 2025 NL Housing & Homelessness Network Annual Conference (October 7–9) and will guide upcoming training priorities, resource planning, funding allocation and policy engagement.
All answers are anonymous, and participation is open to all non-profit and co-operative housing providers in the province.
Need a hand? Join our webinar!
We’ll be hosting a pre-event webinar on August 28 at 3 pm NDT to walk through the tool, offer practical tips, and answer any questions.
