Literature review and environmental scan prepared by Kaitlin Schwan for a CMHC NHS Solutions Lab, synthesizing Canadian and international research on the pathways into and out of homelessness for youth aged 13 to 24. This scan lists causes at the structural, systemic, and individual levels, promising prevention practices, and gaps in knowledge related to Indigenous youth, LGBTQ2S+ youth, and rural youth homelessness.
