The Centre is changing the application process for the Sector Transformation Fund (STF). Starting October 7, 2026, organizations seeking STF funding for a project must express their interest through the portal and speak with a Program Manager before preparing an application.
Here are the main steps to follow in the My Centre portal:
- Express your interest. On the portal’s STF–Local Projects or STF–Sectoral Impact Projects page, click “Express interest” and complete the short form to get started.
- Discuss your project. A Program Manager will contact you to to learn more about your project and its potential fit with the Fund’s priorities. During this stage, your expression of interest will be pending, and you will not be able to start an application.
- Apply by invitation. If your expression of interest is accepted, the “Start application” button will become available, and you can begin preparing your application.
