Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) created this NHS project profile presenting the goals of the Solutions Lab “Creating Mutual Gains in Canada’s Housing Market,” led by SHS Consulting and the Brookfield Centre for Real Estate and Infrastructure, which explores how online tools can help property owners in racialized neighbourhoods of the Greater Toronto Area add accessory dwelling units to increase housing supply and build generational wealth. The Lab addresses gentrification and housing affordability by enabling homeowners to act as micro-developers.
