NHS project profile created by the CMHC and presenting the goals of the Solutions Lab “From Prison to Homelessness: Ending a Perilous Trajectory,” led by the John Howard Society of Canada, which reimagines pathways to affordable housing and employment for Canadians leaving federal prison, with pilot sites in Kingston, Ottawa, and Edmonton. The Lab uses human-centred design to address the bi-directional relationship between homelessness and incarceration, particularly for Indigenous people.
