NHS Solutions Lab – Skookum Lab: An Indigenous reflection of our social innovation journey

This report, created by the Surrey Urban Indigenous Leadership Committee, outlines the journey and achievements of Skookum Lab, a social innovation initiative aimed at addressing Indigenous child and youth poverty in Surrey. It highlights key accomplishments such as engaging discussion with over 1,000 Indigenous community members, developing 16 prototypes to disrupt poverty systems, and creating an Indigenous approach to social innovation.
