This report, developed by the Surrey Urban Indigenous Leadership Committee, analyzes the housing challenges faced by Indigenous households in Surrey, BC, using data from Lab Guide Groups and key informant interviews. It highlights issues such as unsafe housing conditions, rising rents, and discrimination, emphasizing the lack of resources for youth and legal support, and the barriers to home ownership.
