The Catalyst Fund supports practical and collaborative projects which will lead to larger changes in the community-housing sector of the city of St. John’s, N.L.
In 2020, the Centre partnered with the city of St. John’s to triple the allocation for the Affordable Housing Catalyst Fund. The Catalyst Fund supports practical and collaborative projects which lead to larger changes in the sector. The Fund supports community groups and other stakeholders (housing providers, service providers, non-profit organizations, builders/developers) to facilitate and plan housing solutions that will enhance the quality of life for individuals and families and build a healthier community.
To be considered, projects must be solution-focused, action-oriented and fill a clearly identified need in the housing sector. Catalyst projects are intended to be concluded within roughly one year. Emphasis will be placed on initiatives that are led by or include a community agency. Applicants must provide an incorporation number.
Applicants can apply for up to a $30,000 grant per project. The application deadline is Friday, November 27. To apply, click here.
