Project Summary

Stella’s Circle is a leader in the homelessness and housing sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. As part of its strategic planning process, Stella’s identified major housing gaps in the community and decided to increase its housing units from 79 to 100. The planning process helped identify specific populations in desperate need for housing options. Women exiting the prison system and seniors with complex mental health needs are most affected by the housing shortage in the province. However, Stella’s Circle needs assistance in determining the type of housing most appropriate for each group. The project’s objective is to complete an analysis of the needs of the community and identify appropriate growth opportunities for the organization. In addition, the analysis will identify the type of services and infrastructure required to pursue this process.
