Project Summary

The project aims to build capacity within the organization so that it can continue to strengthen the student community housing sector and build more housing for this clientele.
As a first step, the project will share the knowledge and expertise gained through existing student housing initiatives, like the Woodnote Cooperative via a guide explaining how to develop new projects. Secondly, the project aims to mobilize stakeholders through a series of workshops conducted in all regions of Quebec where there is a post-secondary student population. Ultimately, these efforts will make it possible to see the emergence of a multitude of local projects across Quebec and to raise the necessary funds for feasibility planning through the financial participation of student associations and possibly other partners.
