Par Centre

There’s a new tool to help Nova Scotia’s non-profit and co-operative housing sector to grow larger and stronger.

The Community Housing Growth Fund (CHGF), funded by the Government of Nova Scotia and administered by the Centre, launched on November 4, 2022.

If you missed the launch webinar, which includes details on the fund, its funding streams, and how to apply, you can watch and share it here:

The CHGF offers financial resources to support Nova Scotia’s non-profit and co-operative housing sector. It is introduced and financed by the Nova Scotia government in answer to the recommendation from the Nova Scotia Affordable Housing Commission tabled in 2021.

The fund provides money, new tools and expertise, empowering community housing providers to increase the supply of affordable housing options.
